Box Score Centenary College's guard Jasmine Morris scored a game-high 29 points as she helped lead the Ladies over Colorado College, 76-63, in Shreveport, La., on Friday evening in the Tigers' first conference road game of the season.

Morris earned 12 of her 29 points at the charity stripe, making 12 of her 17 attempts. She also went 8-for-15 from the floor for a 53.3 field-goal percentage, while grabbing a team-best eight rebounds.

Centenary led 15-9 late in the first quarter before sophomore guard
Casey Torbet drained a layup with 2:26 remaining to spark a 9-1 run. Torbet scored six points during the run which handed CC an 18-16 lead after 10 minutes of action.

Christina Bowman led the Tigers with 13 and 11 points, respectively. Sophomore guard
Kaylyn Radtke added nine points, while senior forward Korbym Ukasick chipped in eight points. Â Â

The Ladies used a 17-7 run over a 7:17 span in the second quarter to regain their lead they would not relinquish. Centenary went into halftime with a 37-32 edge.

Bowman cut the Ladies' lead to two points when she drained a three-pointer 16 seconds into the third quarter, but a three-pointer by Morris ignited another 17-7 run to take a 54-42 lead with 4:22 remaining in the quarter. Â

Down 57-48 at the start of the fourth quarter, Bowman and Ukasick combined for eight points to cut Centenary's lead to 59-56 with 7:06 left in the game, but that proved to be as close as the Tigers would get as the Ladies scored 17 of the final 24 points to close out the game.

Freshman guard
Nia Duplain led CC on the boards tying her career high with nine rebounds. Bowman also contributed with six rebounds.

Temple and Savanah Doty each scored 12 points to help Centenary improve to 4-10 on the season and 1-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Colorado College (2-13, 1-3 SCAC) continues on the road as it faces Austin College in Sherman, Texas on Sunday at noon CT.
