Theo Hooker made a season-high nine saves, including one on a penalty kick late in the second overtime, as Colorado College battled No. 23 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to a 0-0 deadlock in the regular-season finale on Sunday afternoon.
Late in the 107th minute, the Tigers were booked for a foul in the box, giving the Crusaders a golden opportunity to snap the scoreless tie.
Senior forward Case Carnes sent a low shot to the right post, but Hooker dove to his left to make a two-handed stop and the CC defense quickly cleared the rebound out of harm's way.

Hooker, who stopped both penalty kicks he faced this season, recorded his ninth clean sheet of the year and the 35th of his career.
The Colorado College defense posted its 10th shutout of 2017 and lowered its team goals-against average to 0.60.
With a 1-0-1 mark in Texas this weekend, the Tigers improved to 11-3-5 overall.
UHMB, which had not played since a 2-0 victory at Hardin-Simmons University on Saturday, Oct. 21, built a 12-6 advantage in total shots during regulation time.
However, during the 20 minutes of extra time, both sides launched four shots, each putting two on frame.
Senior Bryce Eichhorn, who played the final 65 minutes in goal for the Cru, finished with three saves.
Mary Hardin-Baylor, which had with a 5-4 edge in corner kicks, is 13-2-2.
"We're proud of the effort the team put forth this weekend," Palguta said. "We played two very good, well rested teams and stood tall in difficult conditions. We will need to replicate our efforts at the SCAC Championship next weekend."
Colorado College will faces Southwestern University in a quarterfinal match on Friday, Nov. 3, at the University of Dallas.
