After dropping both regular-season games to Colorado College, TLU defeated the Tigers, 73-65, in the semifinals of the 2017 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference basketball tournament on Saturday night at Southwestern University.

Chris Martin pulled CC to within a point at 57-56 with 4:02 remaining, senior forward Zach Behr scored every point during a 12-3 run that gave the Bulldogs a 10-point lead with 50 seconds to play.

Eric Houska scored six of his team-high 22 points during the final 42 seconds, but Colorado College could get no closer than eight points the rest of the way.
With four assists, Houska finished the season with 129, which ranks fifth on the program's single-season list.

Behr led the TLU with 22 points and nine rebounds.
Senior guards Sterling Holmes scored 16 and 13 points, respectively.
