Casey Torbet scored 20 points to lead a balanced offense as Colorado College climbed into sole possession of third place in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with an 84-77 victory over Texas Lutheran University on Sunday afternoon at Reid Arena.

Torbet became the 30th player in program history to record 700 or more career points and now ranks 29th with 712.

Gertz stopped the run with one of her three long-range buckets, and after sophomore guard Dominique Campos gave Texas Lutheran a 57-55 lead with 2:37 to play in the period, Underbrink and Torbet scored four points apiece as Colorado College utilized a 10-1 run to build a seven-point lead after 30 minutes.
Duplain grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for the Tigers, who posted a 41-27 advantage on the glass. It marked the third time this season Duplain recorded double-digit boards.
Davis and Campos scored 23 points apiece for TLU, which dropped to 6-11 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
Junior forward Presley Stephens produced 10 points and a team-best seven rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Colorado College travels to Texas next weekend for rematches against Southwestern and Texas Lutheran on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Â
