For the second consecutive meet, the Colorado College women's 4x100-meter relay team set a school record, highlighting the Tiger effort Saturday at the Colorado Invitational in Boulder, Colo.

The foursome of
McKenna Schnack,
Samantha Gilbert,
Asmeda Spalding and
Camille Weaver finished seventh in the race with a time of 50.25 seconds, five one-hundredths of a second faster than they ran last week at the Spank Blasing Meet in Pueblo.

Gilbert and Spalding joined
Duranya Freeman and Ala Loper on the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:05.81. Spalding also finished 22
nd in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:12.32.

Gilbert finished 12
th in the 100 with a season-best time of 12.83 seconds, while
Ayla Loper (13.65) and
Liza Huschle (13.79) placed 23
rd and 24
th, respectively, and each posted a season-best time.

Meanwhile, Freeman ran a season-best 2:20.68 to finish 15
th in the 800, followed by
Hailey Hampson in 28
th and
Lily O'Dowd in 30
th. Huschle (1:03.7) and Schnack (1:03.98) finished 31
st and 33
rd, respectively, in the 400-meter dash, each with a season-best time.

On the men's side,
Damon Hardwick posted a pair of season-best times, finishing 27
th in the 400 with a time of 50.98 seconds and 36
th in the 200 in 23.31 seconds.
Paul Olsen posted a season-best time of 4:14.26 in the 1,500, while
Max Blackburn ran a personal-best4:16.92 in the same race.

Ben Hall finished 17
th in the high jump with a season-best leap of 5'11.75".

"We had several good runs today and gained some momentum for next week and the conference championships in a couple of weeks," head coach ted Castaneda said.

The Tigers will split squads next weekend at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita, Kan., and the Kit Mayer Classic in Golden, Colo.
