For the first time ever, historic Stewart Field will play host to a night game when Colorado College squares off with Colorado State University on Friday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. The Tigers wrap up their current five-game home stand on Sunday when they battle the University of Wyoming for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Fans can watch this week's games for free on the Tiger Sports Network (https://cctigers.com/watch) or the Mountain West Network (http://www.themw.com/index.aspx).

The six senior members of the Colorado College women's soccer team will be recognized on Friday during a post-game ceremony. The senior Tigers are midfielder Lucia Costanza, midfielder Johanna Hamblett, goalkeeper Molly Hiniker, forward Catie McDonald, midfielder Ansley Queen and midfielder Madeline Stesney. So far during their four seasons, this group has helped CC post a combined 29-29-6 record, earn a berth in the 2018 Mountain West Championship, and win the Colorado Cup for the first time in program history.

One lucky student will walk away with a YETI COOLER on Sunday afternoon, thanks to the Colorado College Athletics Department. CC students earned a ball each time they swiped in with their Gold Card at a women's soccer game in the season-long promotion, and can earn two more by attending this week's games on Friday night and Sunday afternoon. At halftime of Sunday's game against Wyoming, the student who throws their ball into the YETI will walk away with the prize.

Colorado College enters Friday's game against CSU with a 6-2-0 overall record and a 1-1-0 Mountain West mark after splitting a pair of home games last week. The Tigers defeated defending conference champion San Jose State, 1-0, on Friday, but fell by the same score to Fresno State on Sunday. CC is 6-1 at home this season and has outscored its opponents 15-6.

Colorado State is 6-3-1 overall and 1-1-0 in the conference after defeating the University of New Mexico, 1-0 in overtime, at home before falling at San Diego State University, 2-0, two days later. The Rams are 2-3-2 on the road this season. Wyoming takes a 4-3-3 record and a 1-1-0 MW mark into Friday night's game at Air Force. The Cowgirls defeated SDSU, 3-2, on Friday, but dropped a 3-0 result to New Mexico at home on Sunday. Wyoming is 0-1-3 away from home this year.

Colorado College holds a 3-0-2 leads in the all-time series with Colorado State, including a 1-0-1 mark in games played in Colorado Springs. The Tigers won the first three encounters beginning in 2014, but the last two meetings ended as scoreless ties.

CC leads the all-time series against the Cowgirls 8-4-0. Colorado College won eight of the first nine games, but Wyoming is riding a three-game winning streak after posting a 3-1 victory in Laramie. The Tigers have won three of four games in Colorado Springs, but the Cowgirls won the most recent game at Stewart Field, 1-0, in 2017.

Colorado College averages 1.88 goals per game and concedes just 0.75. Junior midfielder Jenna Wilt, who owns three goals and a team-best seven assists, leads the team with 13 points. Sophomore forward Jacqui Hand has a team-high four goals and her nine points are tied for second with sophomore forward Kiley Suter, who is second with five assists and tied for third with a pair of goals.

CC's back line of juniors Camille Weaver and Tayla Wheeler, sophomores Kayla Montoya and Toni Tsamasfyros, and freshman Alexis Porter, along with holding midfielders Stesney and Johanna Hamblett, has been impressive during the first eight games of the season. The Tigers have conceded just six goals, two of which were own goals, and are among the Mountain West leaders with a 0.75 GAA. CC's opponents also have launched just 70 total shots, compared to 135 for the Tigers.

Freshman goalkeeper Abby Opperman is 6-2-0 in goal with three clean sheets. CC's first-year keeper also owns a 0.62 goals-against average and a .840 saves percentage.

Colorado State averages 1.4 goals per outing while allowing 0.90. Senior midfielder Caeley Lordemann leads the Rams with six goals and 13 points, while sophomore forward Kristen Noonan is right behind with five goals and 11 points. Sophomore forward Gracie Armstrong leads CSU with five assists. Gabi McDonald has played every minute in goal for Colorado State and has posted three shutouts. In addition to her 6-3-1 record, McDonald owns a 0.86 GAA and a .864 saves percentage

Wyoming averages 1.8 goals per game and concedes 1.7. Senior forward Michaela Stark and sophomore forward Indianna Asimus lead the Cowgirls with four goals and eight points apiece. Freshman midfielder Jamie Tatum is close behind with three goals and six points, while sophomore forward Amber Vokoun has a goal and a team-high two assists. Hannah Lee has played in all 10 games for nearly 700 minutes. The sophomore keeper has 3-2-2 record, along with a 1.30 GAA and a .750 saves percentage. Sophomore Riley Furbush, who has appeared in six games, owns a 1-1-0 record, a 2.22 GAA and a .708 saves ratio.

Since its creation in the wash-up of a 1935 flood, Stewart Field has served the needs of baseball, football, lacrosse and soccer at Colorado College, and has undergone many changes en route to becoming the home of men's and women's soccer.

The first real renovations, however, did not occur until the late 1960s, and with the inception of the women's soccer program in the mid-1970s, Stewart Field still had no natural lines or definition. Today, the newly installed turf playing surface accommodates a regulation-size soccer field and lights allow the Tigers to play night games on the facility for the first time in program history.

Colorado College plays its first Mountain West road matches at the University of Nevada and UNLV on Friday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 13, respectively. The following week, CC returns for its final home matches of the season against the University of New Mexico and San Diego State University.
