Freshmen
Adrian Price and
Scott Ruegg combined for 27 points, but the Colorado College men's basketball couldn't keep up with the University of Northern Colorado during the second half as the Division I Bears pulled away for a 93-53 victory in an exhibition game on Monday night.
Price scored 11 of his 16 points during the first half, while Ruegg scored all 11 of his points during the second half when UNC double-teamed Price every time he touched the ball.
Price went 7-for-11 from the floor, while Ruegg connected on five of seven field-goal attempts.
Senior

The Tigers trailed 41-17 after 20 minutes and were down 48-21 3:06 into the second half, but cut their deficit to 50-35 when freshman forward
Kevin Dittman hit a three-pointer with 13:49 to play.
Northern Colorado answered with 10 consecutive points to take a 60-35 on a Daylen Kountz basket, and after CC's
Isaac Zachem scored to stop the run, the Bears utilized an 18-7 surge to extend their lead to 78-44 with a little more than five minutes to play.
Dru Kuxhausen went 8-for-14 from behind the arc and led UNC with 24 points. Dalton Knecht scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Bears.
Colorado College returns to action on Friday night when it begins a three-game road-trip on the West Coast at Whittier College.
