Rosie Braley sank a free throw with six seconds remaining to send the game to overtime, then scored eight of her 15 points in the extra period as the Colorado College women's basketball team wiped out a 14-point second-half deficit to defeat Linfield University on Saturday afternoon in the Ken Schumann Classic at Pacific University.
After Jordan Worthington gave the Wildcats a 70-69 lead with 15 seconds to go in regulation, Braley hit one of two free throws nine seconds later to extend the game.
Braley scored on a layup 16 seconds into overtime to give CC a lead it would not surrender.
Healy Bledsoe doubled the Tigers' lead a little more than a minute later when she sank a pair of free throws, then Braley scored on back-to-back possessions to give Colorado College a 78-70 lead with 2:11 to play.
Braley and Bledsoe each scored on layups during the final minute to seal the victory.
Linfield built a 48-34 cushion after Alexis Heald sank a pair of free throws with 7:41 remaining in the third quarter, but the Tigers went on a 24-10 surge to tie the game on junior forward

CC took its first lead since early in the second quarter when Bledsoe scored during the first minute of the fourth quarter and the Tigers led 66-61 after Reed knocked down a jumper with 6:09 to play. The Wildcats outscored Colorado College 9-4 to force overtime, but was shutout during the extra five minutes.
Junior point guard
Anna Fanelli tied her career high of 16 points and completed her fourth career double-double with 11 assists. She now has 222 assists, which ranks eighth on the program's career list.
Freshman guard
Laura Strenk posted her first double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Reed scored all of her 14 points in the second half, including 10 in the third quarter during the Tigers' pivotal run. Â

Audrey Bayston scored nine points and grabbed three rebounds.
Healy Bledsoe finished with eight points, three rebounds and three steals.

Alexis Heald led the Wildcats with a game-high 18 points.
Elyse Waldal scored 16 points and pulled down six rebounds.
