Due to the winter storm in the state of Texas and the operational issues that it is causing, all Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contests scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18, through Monday, Feb. 22, have been suspended.
 
For Colorado College, it means the men's and women's basketball teams will not travel to Houston to play the University of St. Thomas, nor will UST's volleyball team make the trip to Colorado Springs for a pair of matches on Saturday.
 
CC's non-conference games scheduled for this weekend are not affected by the SCAC's decision.
 
On Saturday, the Colorado College men's soccer team will play host to Colorado Christian University in its season opener at 3 p.m. on Stewart Field.
 
The following day, the CC men's lacrosse team opens its season against Colorado State University – Pueblo at 1 p.m. on Washburn Field.
