Talia Cloud poured in a season-high 17 points to lead Colorado College to a 78-62 victory at the University of Dallas in a game that wasn't nearly as close as it appeared.
Cloud scored seven points in the second quarter and came within one of matching UD's 10-minute team total.
After trailing 14-13 at the end of the first quarter, the Tigers outscored Dallas 23-8 in the second quarter to open a 14-point halftime lead.
Colorado College opened 50-25 lead when
Tedy Reed scored on a layup for two of her 12 points midway through the third quarter.
The Tigers built a 66-38 cushion when
Zoe Tomlinson scored with 6:42 to play in the fourth quarter.
Tomlinson recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
At the defensive end, CC held Canai McPherson to just five points. The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference scoring leader entered the game averaging 19.1 per outing.
The Tigers recorded a 57-25 advantage in rebounds and outscored the Crusaders 50-16 in the paint.
Camille Fowler led Dallas with 12 points and dished out four assists.
Adryan Alvarez finished with 11 points for the Crusaders, all in the fourth quarter.

Rosie Braley pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds and scored eight points.
Anna Fanelli dished out 10 assists, her sixth game this season in double digits.
