The Colorado College women's track and field team wrapped up its first competition of the season Saturday afternoon at the UCCS Mountain Lion Open in Colorado Springs.

Junior
Kendall Accetta produced the highlight of the day by winning the 3,000-meter race in a time of 10:55.58. Fellow junior
Na'ama Nevo placed third in the race, crossing the finish line in 11:02.16.

Sophomore
Emma Fowkes also produced a top-10 result by placing eighth in the 400 in 1:05.86.

In the men's 800 race, senior Josh Fry finished first and set a new indoor school record with a time of 1:55.60. The previous record was 1:58.40, set by James Rankin in 1990. Sam Rodriguez placed third in Saturday's race in 2:00.82.
