Tigers 2-0 in Conference After Beating Dallas

Colorado College is 2-0 in SCAC play for the first time since the 2016-17 season after defeating the University of Dallas Crusaders on Friday night in Reid Arena.

The Tigers defeated the Crusaders 83-66 in their last home game of 2022. CC shot 50% from the field and held Dallas to a 32.7 shooting percentage.

"Really proud of the team's effort tonight, they played really hard and I thought we were outstanding defensively," coach Jeff Conarroe said. "We've shown a lot of maturity and growth the last few weeks. I'm excited for them to get home with their families and get some time off. I'm really looking forward to getting back to work after the break because the sky is the limit with this team."

Adrian Price led the charge for the Tigers with 16 points, Dinari Boykin was close behind with 12 and Leo Magnus came off the bench to earn ten points. Kevin Dittman earned a career-high eight points and six rebounds and Scott Ruegg tied his career-high seven rebounds in the win.

The Crusaders were led by Marcus Juarez who came off the bench to score 19 points and earn two rebounds.

CC held the lead the whole 40 minutes, forced 16 turnovers and held the Crusaders to just 10 second-chance points.
