Gigi Jensen won both of her matches, including the clinching singles contest, on Sunday to lead the Colorado College women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory over Western New Mexico University at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.

The Tigers took an early 2-1 lead by winning the Nos. 1 and 3 doubles matches. Jensen and
Maddy Meister edged Julia Tarrezas and Massiel Paredes, 8-7(5), at the top spot, while
Olivia Dicks and
Malia Rivera downed Nicold Gonzalez / Andreea Arnautu, 8-3, at No. 3.

Each team won three of the six singles matches.
Christina Heffron led things off for the Tigers with an impressive 6-4, 6-2, victory over Livia Leite at the No. 1 position. Meister handled Paredes, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 4, then Jensen clinched the team win with an exciting, 6-0, 5-7, 1-0(8) triumph over Andreea Arnautu.

The Tigers (3-4) return to action on Friday, March 18 against Denison College in the team's first match of its spring break trip to Orlando, Fla.
