Junior
Kendall Accetta led the Colorado College women's track and field team at the Oxy Distance Classic and Springs Break Classic Saturday with a school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase race.

Accetta finished third in the race with a time of 11:11.04, smashing the previous record of 11:44.04, set by Meghan Lynch in 2008.

Other top finishes by the Tigers on Saturday include senior
Megan Koch, who finished 10
th in the 800 with a time of 2:19.94 and
Elliot Singer placing 12th in the 1500 in 4:50.05. Meanwhile, the foursome of
Kate Odom,
Shekinah Oloyede,
April Kwan and
Bea Pierrepont finished seventh in the 4x100 relay with a time of 52.08 seconds.

In the field events, Kwan and freshman
Maya Mossanen tied for second in the high jump, each finishing with a height of 4'11", while junior
Mabel Gardner placed sixth in the pole vault at 9'9". Â

The Tigers return to action next weekend at the CSU-Pueblo Early Bird meet, beginning on Friday, March 18.
