The Colorado College women's tennis team captured its second consecutive victory on its spring break by defeating Luther College, 7-2, Tuesday at the USTA National Tennis Center in Orlando, Fla.

The Tigers took an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches.
Olivia Dicks and
Maddy Meister led things off with an 8-4 win over Sofia Sackett and Ana Olimpio at the top spot.
Gigi Jensen and
Malia Rivera followed suit at No. 2 with an 8-6 win over Lexi Hastings and Natalia Smith, while
Christina Heffron and
Elizabeth Girian took the No. 3 match, 8-5, over Kylie Dunning and Emily Rubbelke.

CC took four of the six singles matches, led by Heffron, who won at the No. 1 spot, 6-2, 6-0, over Sackett. Girian downed Shelby Cook, 6-0, 6-2, while Jensen pulled out a 6-0, 6-7(5), 1-0(7) victory over Smith at No. 5 and Rivera beat Montserrat Ramirez, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 6.

The Tigers (5-6) close out the trip to Orlando on Wednesday, March 23 against Trinity College at the National Tennis Center, beginning at 6 a.m. (MT).
