The Colorado College women's tennis team posted its third consecutive victory Saturday with a 6-3 win over Hardin-Simmons University in the 2021-22 regular-season finale in Abilene, Texas.

CC posted its first three-match winning streak since the 2017-18 season and improved to 9-11 this season.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches.
Olivia Dicks and
Maddy Meister won the No. 1 doubles match, 8-5, over Lauren Schaeffer and Laurel Coleman, while
Gigi Jensen and
Malia Rivera pulled out an 8-6 win over Jonnah Smith and Priscilla Schimming at the No. 2 position.
Christina Heffron and
Elizabeth Girian completed the sweep by defeating Skylar Rust and Brianne Dumas, 8-4, at No. 3.

Colorado College won at the top three singles spots, including a 6-2, 6-0 win by Heffrom over Coleman at the No. 1 spot. Â Meister followed suit with a 6-4, 7-6(8) triumph over Schaeffer at No. 2, and Girian clichéd the match with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 victory over Schimming at the No. 3 position. .

The Tigers return to action at the SCAC Championships next weekend in Kerrville, Texas.
