The Colorado College women's tennis team posted its sixth shutout of the season on Friday with a 5-0 victory over SCAC-foe Austin College in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship in Kerrville, Texas.

The 'Roos had only four players, so Colorado College won the Nos. 5 and 6 singles and No. 3 doubles matches due to forfeit.

Maddy Meister won the No. 1 doubles match, 8-1, over Gigi Francis and Sierra Thomas, while
Gigi Jensen and
Malia Rivera blanked Tara Tran and Elena Aventa, 8-0, at No. 2.

The third-seeded Tigers (10-11) advance to the SCAC semifinals for the first time since 2018 and will face No. 2-seed Southwestern University on Saturday, April 30, beginning at 8 a.m. (MT).
