Another School Record for Oloyede

Shekinah Oloyede set a school record for the second consecutive weekend as the Colorado College track and field teams competed at the University of Colorado Invitational Saturday afternoon in Boulder, Colo.

Running against primarily Division I and Division II teams, Oloyede finished seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.33 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 12.43, which she set at the Central Nebraska Challenge on April 2. That time ties her for No. 1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Maya Mossanen finished sixth in the high jump with a height of 5'3", while Mabel Gardner placed ninth in the pole vault at and even 10'.

On the men's side, Josh Fry finished fourth in the 800 with a time of 1:53.22, just over half a second off his school record, while Logan Henning placed sixth in the pole vault with a height of 13'5.05".

Fry's time puts him at the top of the SCAC list by nearly three seconds.
