Colorado College freshman Elliot Singer won the 10K race at the Fighting Chance Invite Friday evening in Joliet, Ill.
 
Singer captured the race with a time of 36:57.53, just over five seconds faster than runner-up Zarya de Souza of Washington University. It is the 39^th fastest time in Division III this season.
 
Junior Kendall Accetta placed seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:59.87, while fellow junior Na'ama Nevo finished 12^th in 11:21.21.
 
Senior Clare Quinn posted a 10^th-place result in the 5K with a time of 18:18.04.
 
On the men's side, sophomore Devlin Swanson finished 10^th in the 10K with a time of 32:09.31 and senior Ben Gellman placed 20^th in 33:58.35.
 
Several Tigers will compete at the Loper Twilight Meet in Kearney, Neb., on Saturday, May 14, beginning at 2 p.m. (MT).
