Colorado College senior
Bea Pierrepont won the 400-meter race Friday afternoon at the Air Force Twilight Track and Field Meet at the Academy.

Pierrepont captured the race in a time of 59.81 seconds, nearly two second faster than runner-up Amada Fraga of Air Force.

Fellow senior
Megan Koch placed third in the 800 with a time of 2:21.56, while freshman
Mara Mueting was sixth (2:34.17) and Pierrepont ninth (2:50.06).

Emma Fowkes produced a pair of impressive results by finishing third in the 100-meter hurdles and tied teammate
April Kwan for fifth in the high jump, just behind freshman
Maya Mossanen. Kwan was fourth in the long jump (16'0.5"). while freshman
Erin Capell placed seventh in the shot put (32'3") and eighth in the discus (87').

In the distance race of the meet, freshmen
Sydney Rankin and
Isabel Olson finished seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 1500.

CC was the only Division III school at the meet, which included Division I schools Air Force, Colorado State and Northern Colorado.

The Tigers return to action at the Fighting Chance Invite, hosted by the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill, on Friday, May 13.
