The Colorado College volleyball team opened its Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference slate on Saturday with victories over Centenary College and the University of Dallas in Shreveport, La.

In the day's first match,
Keeley Kandziora and
Carolyn Dormady each collected a match-high 16 kills as the Tigers downed Centenary, 25-17, 23-25, 26-24, 25-14.

Jenny Jenks dished out 39 assists, while
Peyton Hummel led four Tigers in double figures with a match-best 19 digs.

Jaylin St. Martin had 12 kills and Jaycie Proctor 19 digs for Centenary.

In the three-set sweep over the University of Dallas (25-23, 25-22, 25-19),
Isabella Lipacis and Dormady each posted a double-double as the Tigers improved to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in the SCAC.

Lipacis led all players with 16 kills and an impressive .364 hitting percentage, and also added 11 digs. Dormady followed with 10 kills and 12 digs, while Hummel led the squad with 13 digs.

Jenks had 18 assists, while
Annie Steger added 16.

Cassie Dyoub led the Crusaders with eight kills, while Larissa Ramirez had 13 assists.

"Starting 2-0 in SCAC play feels great," head coach
Sharon Dingman said. "Multiple people contributed to our wins. It was fun to see different people making big plays at critical times."

The Tigers return to action on Sunday, Sept. 25, against Austin College, beginning at 9 a.m. (MT).
