Audrey Bayston and
Healy Bledsoe each nabbed 13 points.Â
"Zoe was steady and efficient - her points and boards really helped us keep the pace we wanted in the first half," coach Katherine Menendez said. "She battles every game and her effort made a big difference tonight."We got significant contributions from many: Rosie had a strong offensive game, Healy went to the rim with confidence, Audrey showed great versatility, and Andie found her mid-range stride. We continue building toward being the team we want to be by the end of the season and this game was another step."
The Tigers held Centenary to 25.4% from the field and allowed just three second-chance points.Â
"We started slowly tonight and got up-to-speed as the game went on," Menendez said. "Our defense gradually wore them down and we had some great stretches both in our press and in the half court. On the offensive end, team basketball and great ball movement won the day. Our balanced scoring was evidence of this and sharing the ball well was key to our success."
Colorad College shot an impressive 47% from the field and scored 20 second chance points and 28 points off of turnovers.Â
Centenary was led by Amiyah Barrow who scored 14 points and grabbed four rebounds.Â
