Junior Charlie Wagner has been named the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week from Monday, October 9th through Sunday, October 15th.
 
Wagner, a junior from Atlanta, Ga., led the Tiger effort from his defensive midfielder position last weekend, limiting Southwestern and 16^th-ranked Texas Lutheran to just 12 total shots and three on target in a pair of key home SCAC victories. CC defeated Southwestern, 1-0, and TLU, 2-1.
 
Additionally, he chipped in offensively, assisting on all three of Colorado College's goals, the first three assists of his career. Wagner's defensive efforts helped lift Colorado College to a tie atop the SCAC table and a perfect 4-0 start in league play for the first time since 2018.
 
The Tigers, ranked #22 in the nation, host 19^th-ranked Trinity University on Friday, Oct. 20, at 4 p.m., and Schreiner on Sunday, Oct. 22, at noon in the final home matches of the season.
