The Colorado College volleyball team swept a pair of SCAC matches Friday in Shreveport, La.

In the opener, Isabella Lipcis led the Tigers with 17 kills and 29 assists as CC pulled out a five-set victory over Austin College, 18-25, 25-16, 25-22, 20-25, 15-12.

Brooke Brilliant added 13 kills and
Meghan Gannon led the squad with 24 digs.
Annie Steger paced all players with 38 assists.

After dropping the first set, CC easily won the second, then jumped out to an 11-5 lead in the third but held on to take a 2-1 lead.

The fourth set was back and forth as the Tigers overcame a 16-12 deficit to take a 17-16 lead and held a 20-19 advantage before Austin won the final six points of the set.Â

CC trailed 4-0 and 6-2 in the final set before taking its first lead at 9-8 on kill from Brilliant. The Tigers were ahead 13-9 before Austin scored three straight points to cut the lead to one, but a 'Roos attack error and Lipacis kill ended the match.

In the nightcap, Lipacis and Brillian led the Tigers with eight kills apiece and
Jenny Jenks collected 29 assists and six aces in CC's 25-8, 25-14, 25-11 victory over Centenary.

Colorado College faces the University of Dallas on Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m. MT.
