Tigers Sweep University of Dallas; Secure Spot in SCAC Tournament

The Colorado College volleyball team wrapped an SCAC Crossover weekend with a three-set sweep over the University of Dallas Saturday in Shreveport, La.

Brooke Brilliant led the Tigers with 10 kills and Keeley Kandziora had nine kills and nine digs in the 25-15, 25-14, 25-13 sweep over the Crusaders.

With the victory, the Tigers secured a spot in the 2023 SCAC Volleyball Championships.

Brilliant was just that as she posted a .692 hitting percentage, having just one error in 13 attempts. The Tigers hit .321 as a team, collecting 46 kills with just 11 errors.

Carolyn Dormady and Isabella Lipacis each added eight kills and Jenny Jenks paced all players with 28 assists.

"This was a fun weekend of volleyball for us," head coach Sharon Dingman said. "We played consistently high level volleyball. Each team challenged us in different ways and we responded."

Colorado College, winners of four straight matches, improved to 14-10 overall and 10-4 in the SCAC. The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 28, as they wrap up the regular season with matches against Schreiner and 11th-ranked Trinity University in Kerrville, Texas.
