The Colorado College women's basketball team kicked off their three-game road trip to the Pacific Northwest with a dominating 66-44 win over Whitworth on Friday, Dec. 8 in Walla Walla, WA.
Zoë Tomlinson led the way with 20 points, six rebounds and three steals in only 18 minutes on the floor. She went 4-5 from the line and also dished out an assist.
Freshman Rose Kohler scored a career-high 16 points, shooting 87.5 percent from the floor on Friday (7-8), while also being effective on the boards, nabbing three rebounds. "Tonight was a fun win on the road," head coach
Katherine Auguste said. "From Zoë's scoring to Kyle [Rowland]'s charge to Rose's barrage of pull-up jumpers and Healy [Bledsoe]s rebounds, everyone contributed."
CC's bench contributed 30 points to the final score, outsourcing Whitworth's bench by 13.

The Pirates battled out to a lead in the first half but lost it at the 7:14 mark in the first quarter and never got it back once when CC made the score 8-6, thanks to a Tomlinson layup. Tomlinson scored eight of the Tigers' first 14 points.
In the third quarter, CC continued to assert their dominance and shot 53.3 percent from the floor while holding Whitworth to 14.3 percent from the floor off of only made shots. They built their lead up to 21 points as
