Tigers Fall to Muhlenberg College

Senior attackman Makay Hansen put up a trio of goals, however the Colorado College fell into a deficit early and dropped a 17-7 decision to Muhlenberg College on Friday in Allentown, Penn. 

Muhlenberg goalkeeper Max May made seven saves and earned the win in the first-ever meeting between the programs. 

Three different Mules scored a goal before Thomas Power put the Tigers on the board with 2:25 remaining in the first quarter. 

The Tigers were in striking distance after Dylan Brown scored his fifth goal of the season tcut Muhlenberg's lead to one with 6:39 left in the second, but Muhlenberg scored three in a row to open an 8-5 lead at the half. 

Muhlenberg scored eight unanswered goals to start the second half and the 16-5 deficit proved too much for the Tigers to overcome. 

Makay Hansen and Jack Haims scored for the Tigers in the final 7:08. 

Winston Chodnicki went 14 for 19 at the dot and picked up a game-high seven ground balls for Colorado College.

The Tigers launched 37 shots to the Mules 49. Ben Anastos made 12 saves for CC.

Dominick Visintin and Andrew Sellitto led Muhlenbeg with three goals apiece. 

Next for the Tigers
The Tigers will face Ursinus College on Sunday in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
