Kevin Somerville evened the game at 2-2 just over five minutes in, the Bears scored three straight to take a 5-2 lead after the first quarter, thanks to a pair of goals by Tyler Neal and Jeremy Calabro. Each team collected three goals in the second quarter, including one from Maguire,
Dylan Wells and
Andrew Tan, then Ursinus outscored the Tigers 7-4 in the second half.

Neal led all players with seven goals, followed by Calabro with four.

Ursinus outshot CC 52-47 and forced 16 turnovers by the Tigers. The home team's goalie, Jonathan Singer, made 22 saves, while Colorado College's
Ben Anastos had 15.
