Colorado College struggled to build offensive momentum in the 23-8 loss to Trinity College on Wednesday at Washburn Field.
The Tigers were out shot 43-21 against the Bantams.
Colorado College had their only lead of the afternoon when
Gabby Torres scored at 9:25 in the first to put the Tigers up 1-0. The Bantams then scored seven unanswered goals before
Kendall Havill cashed in at 13:42 in the second to cut the deficit to 7-2.
At the half, the Tigers were in a 14-6 deficit after goals by
Bella Scola,
Kendall Havill and
Tobin Lonergan. The Bantams scored eight unanswered goals to extend the lead to 22-6.
Molly McGuckin led the charge for the Trinity College with four goals and an assists against the Tigers.
Gabby Torres had a trio of goals and Havill and Lonergan both had a pair but were unable to stop the Bantam's offensive momentum.
Trinity won the draw control battle 23-11 while the Tigers had the 10-9 edge in ground balls.

The Tigers are set to play Williams College on March 28th at Washburn Field.
