Singer, Quinn Lead TIgers at KT Woodman Classic

Sophomore Elliot Singer and senior Clare Quinn finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 5K Friday night, leading the Colorado College women's track and field team at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita, Kan.
 
Singer crossed the finish line with a time of 17:47.39, while Quinn posted a personal-best time 0f 17:50.08. Sophomore Sydney Rankin, senior Charlotte Furman and sophomore Britt Helgaas placed 16th, 18th and 20th in the race.
 
Junior Julia Solano collected a 10th-place result in the 3000 steeplechase in a personal-best time of 12:04.65, followed by freshman Liz White in 12th in 12:19.84.
 
Sophomore Isabel Olson led four Tigers in the 1500 by placing 23rd with a time of 4:52.99.
 
Meanwhile, four Tigers competed at the Kit Mayer Invite on Friday in Golden, Colo. Sophomore Erin Capell finished 11th in the shot put (35'0.5"), Ann Louise Naito (13th/74'6") and Naomi Bram (15th/62'6") in the javelin, and April Kwan placed 15th in long jump (15'6").
 
Several Tigers will compete on the second day of the Kit Mayer Invite on Saturday, April 8.
