Lippert Sets Two PR Times at Oxy Invitational

Freshman Clara Lippert led the Colorado College women's track and field team with a pair of personal-best marks Saturday at the Oxy Invitational in Los Angeles, Calif.
 
Lippert finished 10th in the 400 with a PR time of 59.14 seconds, then did the same in the 200, placing 21st in 26.07 seconds.
 
Senior Clare Quinn led six Tigers in the 5K with all six setting a personal-best time. Quinn finished 20th in 17:48.01, followed by senior Charlotte Furman in 21st in 17:50.18, better than 30 seconds faster than her previous best time. Freshman Alison Mueller-Hickler was 24th (17:57.81), sophomore Britt Helgaas 27th (18:15.67), freshman Liz White in 31st (18:32.88) and senior Dafna Williams I 32nd (18:35.30).
 
Sophomore Sydney Rankin finished 14th in the 1500, crossing the line in 4:42.80.
 
The Tigers are back in action at the Azusa Pacific Franson Last Chance Meet, May 12-13, in Azusa, Calif.
