Junior Alison Mueller-Hickler led the Colorado College women's cross country team, ranked No. 1 in DIvision III, to its first team win at the Ted Castaneda Classic since 2008 Saturday morning at North Monument Valley Park.
 
Mueller-Hickler led a first through fifth finish for the Tigers with a time of 22:17.60, followed closely by senior Sydney Rankin, who placed second in 22:28.40.
 
Senior Elliot Singer was third with a time of 22:19.50, while senior Isabel Olson (4^th/22:26.30) and sophomore Charlie Flint (5^th/22:29.70) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers.
 
CC, the only Division III team at the meet, finished with a perfect 15 team points, followed by UCCS (69), Colorado School of Mines (70) and Air Force (86).
 
"Today was all about checking in on training to make sure we're still on track with the season goals," head coach Alex Nichols said. "I think today showed that our performance two weeks ago wasn't a fluke, and that we are an even stronger team than we were in Indiana."

The Tigers return to action at the UCCS Open on Friday, Oct. 11 at North Monument Valley Park.
