The Colorado College track & field teams opened the 2025 season a bit early with the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite and Multi Friday and Saturday at UCCS.
 
Senior Erin Capell posted the best individual performance for the Tigers, placing 10^th in shot put with a toss of 36', 2.25".
 
Gabriela Lues led four Tigers in the 400, finishing 11^th with a time of 1:03.15, Allison Barker finished 12^th in 1:03.32, while Chloe Johnson and Alina Miranda placed 14^th and 15^th, respectively.
 
Josephine Louis finished 11^th in the pole vault with a height of 9', 1", while Zaniya Bruno Munn and Keely Lueckeman finished 19^th and 21^st, respectively, in the 60-meter dash preliminaries.
 
On the men's side, Josh Williams finished sixth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.01 seconds.
 
The Tigers return to action at the UCCS Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 25.
