The Colorado College women's basketball team heads to Las Vegas, Nevada, to compete in the D3Hoops.com Classic at the South Point Arena. CC will be one of 16 teams playing. The
D3hoops.com Classic is the biggest event of its type in Division III basketball and this year's nine men's teams and seven women's participants.

Last Time Out
The Tigers have played only one game so far in the month of December, but it was a 57-54 win over St. Thomas in the SCAC opener on Dec. 14.
Senior
Zoë Tomlinson led the team with 28 points and 13 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. The Tigers scored 25 points in the third quarter after being down 23-22 at the half and fought off a UST fourth-quarter comeback to win their first conference game of the season.
Player of the Week
Zoë Tomlinson was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season for her performance against St. Thomas. Tomlinson
The 28 points against the Celts are the second most scored this season as she led the Tigers to their third-consecutive win and a 7-1 start to the year.
Tomlinson leads the SCAC in rebounds per game with 13.3 and is second in points per game with 21.6.
In The Polls
CC has received votes in the D3Hoops.com and WBCA national polls for three consecutive weeks. The Tigers are off to their best start since 2009.
The Tigers have the 20th best team field goal percentage in all of Division III making 44.6 percent of their shots from the floor.
Tomlinson ranks seventh in the nation in rebounds per game and 17th in points per game,
Kayla Mackel ranks 10th in three-pointers per game (3.00), and
Isa Nelson is 28th in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.18).
Scouting The Opposition
Susquehanna enters the week with a 5-3 record and is coming off a dominant 72-46 win over Misericordia University on Dec. 17. The River Hawks lost their two prior games against No. 24 Catholic and No. 25 Elizabeth College.
Junior Julia Roth leads the team with 26.0 points per game but has played in only one contest this season. Kenzie Selvaggi follows with 12.1 ppg.
SUNY New Paltz is 3-4 entering the showcase but is 3-1 in its last four contests. The Hawks have wins over Mount Saint Mary, Fredonia and Buffalo State.
Graduate Student Abby Korzekwinski leads the team with 11.3 ppg and 7.7 rebounds per game. Sophomore Hannah Vanderzee is second with 10.3 ppg.
