The Colorado College women's tennis team had its two-match winning streak snapped on Saturday with a 6-3 loss to Whitman College in the finale of its three-match road trip.

Whitman jumped out to an early 2-1 lead by winning the Nos. 1 and 3 doubles matches.
Lindsay Popeo and
Christina Heffron captured the No. 2 match for CC, 8-4, over Ilina Jha and Sascha Wells.

Popeo was one of two Tigers to win in singles play, downing Wells, 6-2, 6-2, at the No. 4 position.
Kala Komanduri rallied to twin the No. 1 match, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, over Teleya Blunt.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, March 9, against Midland University at Lifetime Fitness in Colorado Springs.
