Box Score The Colorado College women's tennis team rallied from a 3-0 deficit following the doubles matches to win five singles and beat Midland University, 5-4, Saturday afternoon at Lifetime Fitness in Colorado Springs.

Midland jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles matches. CC's top team of
Lindsay Popeo and
Christina Heffron posted the best result, falling to Kissmel Cedano and Grace Felder, 6-4.

The Tigers roared back and captured the top four singles matches.
Avery Hickman led things off with a 6-3, 7-6(5), victory over Ari Lumanog at the No. 1 position, while Heffron followed suit by defeating Graziela Dallagnol, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 2.

Popeo captured the No. 3 match, 6-2, 6-4, over Elaina Fanton, while
Elizabeth Girian downed Felder, 7-5, 6-4 at the No. 4 position.
Marina Seidl blanked Krystal Olson, 6-0, 6-0, at the No. 6 spot.

The Tigers return to action on Sunday, March 10, against SCAC foe Austin College at Lifetime Fitness, beginning at 8 a.m.
