Kendall Havill scored four goals and added three assists but the Colorado College women's lacrosse team fell to Rhodes College, 18-16, Saturday afternoon in Claremont, Calif.

Charlotte Iler also scored four times and
Tobin Lonergan added three goals as the Tigers dropped to 0-2 this season.

Rhodes jumped out to a 6-2 lead after the first quarter thanks to a pair of goals by Avery Burke, who finished with three goals and two assists for the Lynx.

Meghan Collins, Lonergan and Havill scored early in the second quarter to cut the lead to 6-5, but Rhodes notched the next four goals to take a 10-5 advantage and it led 11-7 at halftime.

Havill scored twice in the third period and CC cut the deficit to 15-13 at the end of the frame, then Iler scored a pair of goals within 55 seconds in the fourth quarter to decrease Rhodes' lead to 17-16 with 5:54 remaining in the game, but Chole Parker scored for the Lynx with 15 seconds left for the final goal.

Rhodes outshot the Tigers, 36-28, and CC goalie
Cassidy Schnaufer made 11 saves.

Colorado College returns to action for its first home game of the season on Tuesday, March 5, against Ursinus College, beginning at 6 pm.
