The Colorado College men's track and field team kicked off the Emory Spring Break Classic in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday. The Tigers stand in 13th place after Day One.
Josh Williams placed second in the 200 meter with an outstanding time of 21.54. He owns the program record with a time of 21.45.
Holden Perry also placed in the event, he crossed in 22.39 to claim 16th place overall.
Chase Marks placed 15th in the 400 m hurdles. The freshman crossed with a time of 58.81.
Fellow freshman in Eric Combs ran a 16:02.55 in the 5,000 meters, good enough for a 21st place mark.
Owen Shi threw a best mark of 11.76m in the shot put, which placed him 14th overall in a field of over 30 athletes.
Day Two of the meet will take place on Saturday at the Held at Morehouse College outdoor track.
