The Colorado College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to 28
th-ranked Chapman University Saturday afternoon in Orange, Calif.

CC's No. 1 doubles team of
Kala Komanduri and
Avery Hickman defeated Racquel Fhina and Chloe Cadelina, 8-4, but the Panthers won the other two matches to take a 2-1 lead.

Christina Heffron won CC's lone singles match, defeating Brooke Waite, 6-4, 6-1, at the No. 3 spot. Komanduri stretched Alexis Golin to three sets at the No. 1 match before falling, 6-4, 3-6, 1-0(6), and Chapman won the other four matches in straight sets.

The Tigers return to action on Sunday, March 17, against Cal Lutheran, beginning at 10 a.m. (PT).
