The Colorado College men's track and field team competed in both the Emory Spring Break Classic in Atlanta, Georgia and the CSU-Pueblo Dr. Dan Caprioglio Early Bird Invitational in Pueblo, Colorado. In Atlanta,
Josh Williams collected his second program record of the after getting the school record in the 400 meter just a week ago, Williams is the new CC record holder in the 100 m after finishing with a time of 10.64. He took fourth place overall with the mark.
Freshman Will Nakahara took fourth as well, his time of 1:57.14 in the 800 meters was good enough for the pivotal top-five finish.
Holden Perry finished 15th overall in the triple jump after reaching a best mark of 11.53m.
Liam Mullen also got a top 14 finish after running a 4:26.84 in the 1,500m. In the relays CC placed tenth overall in the 4x100m with a time of 43.04.
Down in Pueblo, Brett Kitzano placed tenth overall in the 3,000m Steeple Chase with a time of 10:10.72. In the 1,500m,
James Settles placed ninth overall with a time of 3:59.02.
Devlin Swanson placed 10th in the 5,000m after crossing in 16:04. 04.
Brian Marks reached the top six in the 400m dash after finishing in 52.65 seconds. To cap the meet with the 4x400 relay, the Tigers finished third with a time of 3:39.69.
The Tigers will return to action on March 29th in the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis, MO.
