The Colorado College men's lacrosse team won its third consecutive game at Washburn Field and fourth overall to improve to 4-1 on the season. On Saturday, the Tigers downed DeSales University 21-8 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the program. 
 
Before the game, the Tigers honored the inaugural 1964 team and hosted members from each decade of the program. 
 
Thomas Power and 
Matt Hudson combined for eight goals, leading the Tigers with 15 shots on goal. This is Powers' second time this season scoring four goals and, in the third game, racking up five points. The sophomore also had an assist. 
 
Hudson continued his impressive week. The Edina, Minnesota native has 10 goals in the last two games. 
 
CC outscored DeSales 14-1 between the second and third quarters. The game started with the Bulldogs surrendering four straight goals before scoring their first. Karsten Nyrady led off the offense for CC with a score with 13:47 left in the first. Hudson scored his first two minutes later with an assist from 
Brayden Legette. 
Braydon Ellis put the Tigers up 3-0. Hudson continued with his second goal of the quarter with 8:32 left to increase the lead to four goals. 
 
DeSales answered with their first goals, back-to-back, with 4:04 left in the quarter. The Tigers went into the second quarter up a 5-3 lead after the teams exchanged more goals. In the second, Power gathered his first goal of the game with 13:37 left until half. Hudson and 
Dylan Brown followed suit with two of their own. The Bulldogs scored their first and only quarter goal with 7:54 left to make it 8-4 Tigers. 
 
CC didn't allow the opposition to gain any momentum heading into halftime, as they racked up five consecutive goals to head into the break with a 13-4 lead. 
 
The Tigers outshot the Bulldogs 34-15 in the first half, including 17-5 in the second quarter. In the third quarter, the offensive showcase continued as the Tigers put 11 shots on the net and scored on six of them. 
 
Sophomore 
Roman Tacelli scored his first goal of the season with 12:08 left in the third to put the Tigers up 15-4. 
Andrew Tan also achieved his first goal of the year, which was to make it 17-4. CC racked up eight goals in the third quarter and crushed into the fourth with a 19-4 advantage, in the fourth, sophomore 
Luke Smith recorded his first goal of the season.
 
The Tigers cruised to an eventual 21-8 lead and ended the game with 43 ground balls to the Bulldogs' 29. 
Trevor Mackles won 10 of his 13 faceoffs. Goalie 
Ben Anastos won after racking up 44 minutes in net and 10 saves. 
 
CC will be back in action next Wednesday, March 13th, when it hosts Muhlenberg College at Washburn Field at 6 p.m. MT.
