Colorado College is celebrating NCAA Division III Week by highlighting two student-athletes each day this week. Today's Division III student-athletes are
Emmy Winter (women's tennis) and
Eric Uerling (men's swimming).
The event is part of Division III's Identity Initiative, which was introduced in 2010 to sharpen the division's identity and to enable schools and conferences to more effectively explain why they prefer to compete in Division III. The initiative has been guided by a strategic-positioning platform, describing Division III as a place where student-athletes can "follow your passions and develop your potential," within an approach that combines rigorous academics, competitive sports and an opportunity to pursue other interests.

Each day this week,
two Colorado College Division III student-athletes will be profiled on CCTigers.com and the athletics social media platforms.
Approximately 325 of the nation's 195,000 Division III student-athletes attend Colorado College and that group has combined for a 3.64 grade-point average during the 2023-24 academic year. Several of those student-athletes also participate in other extracurricular activities at the school as well as community service projects in Colorado Springs.
