The Colorado College men's lacrosse team secured a significant victory on the road at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The Tigers, led by a stellar four-goal performance from
Thomas Power, overcame the Pirates. CC dominated the third quarter, scoring eight goals and outshooting SWU 28-22 in the second half.

Power scored his first two goals in the first quarter after the Pirates struck first with 12:45 remaining. Power and CC answered back-to-back less than 39 seconds apart, and the Tigers took the lead with 10:21 remaining.

CC carried the lead into the second quarter and lost the lead after back-to-back goals from the Pirates with 9:50 remaining.
Noah Beecher responded with 6:20 left to tie the game up with an unassisted goal to make it 3-3. The Pirates regained the advantage only temporarily as CC went on their first run of the day, striking three consecutive times. Goals from
Max Carneal,
Cade Oxley and Power gave CC a 6-4 lead going into the halftime break.

The Tigers extended their lead thanks to one of the season's most explosive quarters of play. CC put up 18 shots and scored eight goals to the Pirates one. CC scored six straight to take a 12-4 lead with 8:24 left in the quarter. All six goals in the game came in the span of four minutes and 24 seconds.
Matt Hudson scored twice on man-up opportunities.

In the fourth, the Pirates put up 18 shots to the Tigers' 10, but the eclectic third-quarter scoring spree was enough for CC to cruise to the eventual 16-10 lead. Power led the team with five points (four goals and an assist), followed by
Nick Johnson, who scored four points (one goal and three assists).
Max Carneal matched his season-high three goals to give the senior 12 on the season.

CC ended the game outshooting SWU 49-46. The Tigers went 26-29 on attempted clears, including a perfect 12-12 in the second half.

Goalkeeper
