Five Tigers Earn All-Region Honors

Five members of the Colorado College women's track and field team were selected to the 2024 Division III All-West Region teams by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Seniors Kendall Accetta (3K steeplechase and 5K) and Emma Fowkes (high jump), junior Isabel Olson (1500) and sophomores Alison Mueller-Hicker (10K) and Ella Fullerton (800) earned a spot this season.

To be named all-region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top five of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS (Track and Field Results Reporting System) data or be part of a top-three relay team.

Accetta owns the second-fastest time in the region for the steeplechase, an event she will compete in this weekend at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She set the school record in the 5K this season.

Olson and Fullerton also set new school marks this year in the 1500 and 800, respectively.

"It speaks volumes about the direction that our program is heading when we have this many individuals named all-region," head coach Katie Bretscher said. "Everyone is very deserving of this award as they all had outstanding seasons."
