The Colorado College volleyball team won its second consecutive match with a 3-0 sweep over Marian University Saturday morning in the final match of the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament in Eau Claire, Wis.

Carolyn Dormady posted a team-high 13 kills and
Brooke Brilliant added 12 as the Tigers downed the Sabres, 25-22, 25-14, 25-12. Dormady was named to the all-tournament team.

CC hit a season-high .333 (44 kills, 12 errors) with three CC players hitting better than .450.
Camille Sherrill collected eight kills and
Steph Brown added seven.

Once again,
Annie Steger had a solid match from the setter position, dishing out 35 assists, while
Meghan Gannon had a team-best 14 digs, followed by eight from Steger and seven from Sherrill.
"We competed hard all weekend," head coach
Sharon Dingman said. "Winning last night and this morning is a testament to our resilience after a close match Eau Claire yesterday afternoon."

The Tigers (4-6) open play in the SCAC next Friday, Sept. 20 against the University of St. Thomas at Reid Arena, beginning at 6 p.m.
