Zoë Tomlinson became the all-time leading rebounder in program history, surpassing Lorna Kollmeyer on the career rebounds list.
CC downed Concordia (TX) by a final score of 69-60 in the first-ever Southern Collegiate Atheltic Conference meeting between the two programs.
Tomlinson only needed one to tie the record, and she reached that two minutes into the game and then reached the milestone on the next play to reach 1,100 career rebounds as a CC Tigers. The 2024 consensus All-American finished the night with 14 rebounds and was one basket shy of surpassing her career-high of 37 points.

Katherine Auguste said. "Marked by the occasion of Zoë moving into the lead rebounding slot in the Colorado College women's basketball history books. Everyone in our program and the greater CC basketball alum family has tremendous respect for Lorna Kollmeyer, who previously held that record (since 1980). Knowing all that Lorna and her teammates put into their version of the CC program we continue building today makes Zoë's capturing of this milestone even more special."
The New York native also contributed an assist and a block, helping the Tigers improve to 12-2 (4-1 SCAC) and remain undefeated (6-0) at home.

Kayla Mackel and Tomlinson led the Tigers with eight points each in the first quarter, and the Tigers led 16-14 heading into the second. Concordia shot 29.41 percent in the opening 10 minutes but made four three-pointers to stay within a point of CC.
Mackel finished with 19 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. It's her first career double-double as the Houston native dished five three-pointers, three assists and a block.
The Tornadoes gained the lead in the second quarter with 8:17 left in the half after a three-pointer to make it 20-18. They increased the advantage to four points before the Tigers countered with a Tomlinson jumper and a free-throw trio to take a 23-22 lead with 6:31 left.
The lead exchanged hands two more times before the end of the half. But a 10-1 run over the last four minutes of the half and led 38-29 at the break.
Tomlinson scored 10 points in the third quarter as CC had its best offensive outing, shooting 50 percent from the floor.
The Tigers led 57-50 heading into the fourth. The Tornadoes trailed by as many as 10 but returned to as few as three points with 3:21 left. Up only 61-58, Mackel hit a critical three-pointer with 1:58 remaining, followed by another three 30 seconds later to season the win.
CC held on to win 69-60; the Tigers outrebounded the Tornadoes 41-16, and the defense held them to 36.4 percent shooting. Senior
Healy Bledsoe led the team with three steals and finished with three rebounds, two assists and two points.
Laura Strenk handed out six assists, four rebounds, and two points.
Avery Johnson played 18 minutes and finished with three points, a rebound, and an assist.
Kyle Rowland had three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two points.
"Zoë's incredible offensive night kept our team in a great place throughout the contest and was certainly supported by Kayla's well-timed makes from behind the arc and her rebounding," Auguste said. "Avery's defensive effort and Kyle's offensive management added so much to tonight's positive outcome."
The Tigers will face McMurry University in another first-time SCAC matchup on Sunday at 1 pm MT.
