Â
Julia Reusch followed with 14 kills and
Camden Goodman collected 37 assists as the Tigers captured a 25-18, 25-19, 25-23, win to improve to 17-7 overall and 9-4 in the SCAC.
Â
The Tigers jumped out to a 16-7 lead in the first set, only to see McMurry win five straight points to cut the lead to 16-12. CC rattled off nine of the last 15 points to win the set behind five kills from Sherrill and 14 assists from Goodman.
Â
The second set stayed close for a while until the Tigers took a 20-13 lead. The War Hawks cut it to 20-17, but Colorado College closed it out by taking five of the final seven points.
Â
CC grabbed an early 5-0 lead in the third set, but McMurry battled back and eventually took the lead at 15-14 and it was back-and forth for the remainder of the frame. McMurry held a 23-21 advantage until the Tigers scored the final four points, the last one on a service ace by

"Every player contributed to this win," head coach
Sharon Dingman said. "We talk about grit scoring points for us and we had big moments of grit tonight."
