Last Time Out
CC (2-5) competed in the All-Academic Classic two weeks ago in St. Louis, MO, against No. 5 WashU and No. 8 UChicago. The Tigers fell in both contests but fought hard, especially against the Maroons on Sunday, where they fell just short (73-69).Â
Junior
Christian Drummond led the team with 17 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal.Â
Senior
Asher Nofziger was two rebounds shy of a double-double with 10 points, eight rebounds and an assist.
Russell MacFarlane added 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks. Nofziger made the All-Tournament Team for the weekend.Â
Â
Returning Home
CC has not played at Reid Arena in a regular-season game since Nov. 7. The Tigers did host Colorado School of Mines in an exhibition on Nov. 25, but have been on the road for three straight weekends.Â
Four of the next six CC games will be at Reid Arena, where they finished with a 7-8 record in the 2024-25 season.Â
Leading The Way
Nofziger leads the team (minimum two games played) with 16.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. The Denver native has already logged three 20-plus point performances this season, including a 22-point and seven rebound night against the Bears of WashU.Â
Senior
Orion Samikoglu leads the team with 13 three-pointers made and has a 36.1 percent clip from long range.Â
