Kayla Mackel added 19 points to lead the 23
rd-ranked Colorado College women's basketball team to a 90-51 victory over the University of Dallas Sunday afternoon at Reid Arena.

The Tigers captured their eighth consecutive win and improved to 19-2 overall and 11-1 in the SCAC. They continue to lead the SCAC's Blue Division and have clinched a spot in the 2025 SCAC Tournament.

Mackel was on fire early, hitting a pair of three-pointers as the Tigers jumped out to a 10-0 lead. The Crusaders (2-19, 1-11) fought back and closed the gap to 23-17 at the end of the first quarter.

CC clamped down on the defensive end in the second quarter, holding Dallas to just nine points and 17 percent shooting. The Tigers shot 47 percent form the field and 46 percent from three-point range in putting up 24 points during the second stanza to take a commanding 47-26 lead at halftime.

Tomlinson dominated the third quarter, scoring 10 points, and a layup by Mackel produced a 68-36 lead with 2:51 remaining in the frame. The Tigers posted their biggest lead at 87-46 with 3:51 left in the game.

Isa Nelson chipped in with 15 points and
Juliana Garcia added 12, while
Willa McLaughlin and
Laura Strenk each had seven rebounds for the Tigers. Strenk finished the game with a career-high nine assists.

Adryan Alvarez led Dallas with 18 points, while Alyssa Sullivan and Aaliyah Jones each had 10. The Crusaders finished the game 1-for-15 from three-point range.

Colorado College returns to action next Friday, Feb. 14, against Centenary College in Shreveport, La., beginning at 5:30 p.m. (CT).
