Max Vota scored a game-high four goals to lead the Colorado College men's lacrosse team to a 17-8 victory over Moravian University Saturday afternoon at Washburn Field.

Vota added an assist for a game-high five points and
Matt Hudson and
Andrew Tan each scored three times as the Tigers improved to 3-2 overall and remained perfect with a 3-0 record at home this season.

The Tigers jumped out to a 6-3 lead late in the first quarter thanks to a pair of goals from Hudson. Moravian cut the lead to 6-5 at the end of the first, then tied the game with a man-up goal 1:11 into the second quarter by Aaron Judge to even it up at 6-6.

From then on, Colorado College dominated all facets of the game, outscoring Moravian 11-2 the rest of the way. Vota notched two goals in the second quarter, then another two in the third as CC held a 17-7 advantage after three quarters.

Jackson Lesher made eight saves in the first 45 minutes before giving way to
Jimmy Van Metre, who made five in the fourth quarter.

Judge led the Greyhounds with three goals, followed by Ryan Kokoszka with two.

The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, March 4 against Aurora University at Washburn Field, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
